Wild Flour

For years, we dreamt with God about a ministry that would provide a space where system-impacted young people who are transitioning into adulthood can participate in holistic development. We are thrilled to say that the first Azul leadership cohort was launched on September 5th! As we near the end of our first semester with the cohort, we celebrate how clear God’s purpose and plan has been in bringing these three specific young adults to journey and growth together.

An emphasis of this first semester as a cohort has been on learning to reflect on and tell our stories. Through group learning sessions and one on ones, the powerful truth, beauty, and goodness in each student is unfolding and awakening in incredible ways. Each student has come to the table with different backgrounds, personalities, and stories, and God has been weaving those stories together to provide encouragement, healing, and depth.

Another part of the Azul leadership cohort is participating in creative and practical learning activities together. Through Wild Flour pop-up pizza events, we make some delicious pizza onsite to serve at private events. During Wild Flour pizza events, we have seen how the relationship between our Azul cohort learning times connects to real life application. It is a time for students to practice what God is developing in them internally.
