I attended the BJM prayer walk with my community group a few weeks ago. I hadn’t considered how widespread a “sex for sale” problem San Francisco had prior to this experience, especially in a tourist area that sees millions of visitors annually. We had an incredible opportunity to learn more about the problem, and also pray for God’s favor over some of the darkest areas of our city together. It’s my hope that the Holy Spirit answers our prayers and frees the sex workers and their customers from their bondage.

BJM has a profound and far-reaching impact on the communities of girls and ladies they work with here.Through the many interactions I have had over the years with the staff and interns of BJM, the one constant is their amazing, never ending, patient and committed heart and passion to see the women they work with transformed by fresh encounters with the love of God. This ministry is bringing the unstoppable, unshakeable love of God to an area of our city that is being transformed in ways large and small both today and for the future generations of women and girls in this city.
