“Because Justice Matters began as a simple dream to address injustice here in the city I love. After living and working in the Tenderloin inner city area of San Francisco for 8 years, I had seen my fair share of injustice. I had watched massage parlors pop up in my neighborhood, witnessed immigrants face the difficult transitions of life there in ‘Little Saigon’ and seen one too many women with a black eye. Out of this need to address issues of injustice, Because Justice Matters was birthed. It started small and has gradually gathered momentum.
We are a small team with a big dream. Life without injustice.
Our goal is to educate, network and work towards ending various forms of injustice. We do this through coming alongside existing organizations and agencies and joining their efforts, engaging those from various religious faith backgrounds around current and pressing issues and striving to provide resources for anyone interested in joining this fight.
We want to see hope and dignity restored to every victim. We want to see systems change that benefit the abused and not the abuser. We want to see justice for every individual and every family. We are committed to the small steps that offer simple solidarity to someone in need as well as the large leaps that seek to end injustice and hold the guilty responsible.
Join us as we seek life without injustice”
