The following positions are open for YWAM DTS graduates:
Domestic Violence Advocate/Team Leader
We are looking for people who are passionate about working with women who are victims of domestic violence. Staffing in our domestic violence department includes working directly with victims of violence, facilitating faith based domestic violence support groups, networking with local agencies and churches and developing new resources to end violence against women.
Immigration Advocate/Team Leader
San Francisco is a strategic location for anyone looking to work with immigrants and get involved in current immigration issues. BJM is currently offering weekly ESL with local immigrants and refugees, as well as a 5 week summer academy. Staff are committed to developing relationships with local immigrants, and furthering efforts to end discrimination and injustice in our city. Opportunities abound to develop this ministry. Bi-lingual skills preferred, but not required.
Human Trafficking Advocate/Team Leader
Are you looking to be part of a team working to end modern day slavery? Consider joining us in San Francisco. Our staff tackle the exploitation of women through a variety of efforts, including: outreach and ministry to women trapped in the sex industry, taking part in city based coalitions, networking with local agencies and government, hosting awareness events and developing new efforts to fight human trafficking.
Justice Outreach and Volunteer Coordinator
We are looking for the right person to develop a strong volunteer program for local church groups and individuals, to join us in our fight against injustice. If you have strong communication and social skills, and are passionate about justice, this could be the place for you! This role would include developing deeper relationship with local churches and faith communities, attending events and offering presentations about the ministry of BJM, conducting interviews with prospective volunteers and organizing local outreach events.
Media and Administration
Love design, media and art? Interested in using your admin skills as part of an organization working to end injustice? Look no further. We need people who can integrate their media skills into campaigns and projects that will further the work of BJM. We also need people with admin skills and a good eye for communication!
Women's Counselor
Experience and training in counseling, particularly trauma counseling, are required for this position. Counselor will work in other aspects of the ministry, as well as providing one on one counseling and referrals to women who are victims of injustice.
